BEHIND THE DESIGN WITH RAVEN
WORKING WITH LONDON ROYAL RAVENS, THE NEW UK CDL FRANCHISE HAS GIVEN US THE OPPORTUNITY TO HELP LAY THE FOUNDATIONS OF THEIR IDENTITY AT A CRUCIAL TIME. WITH MERCHANDISE BEING ONE OF THE BEST PHYSICAL CONNECTIONs A FAN CAN HAVE TO THEIR TEAM, WE WANTED TO GIVE THEM SOMETHING MEMORABLE.
H O O D I E
The hoodie was the feature piece to the collection and uses our premium materials and printing methods. The garment comprises of a black French Terry cotton base, screen printed back and front assets with an embroided Royal Raven logo on the right sleeve. We wanted to combine several printing methods across the hoodie to give the garment a dynamic feel. The hoodie is designed and priced to be a contemporary piece working both as casual or streetwear.
The Royal Ravens branding is deeply routed in UK history. At least six ravens would protect the Tower of London and It was commonly believed that should the Ravens be vacant the demise of the Crown would soon follow. We used the movement in the texture silhouetting the raven as a subtle nod to wind and restricted those waves to a block to echo the bricks of the tower.

The Royal Raven’s t-shirt is a fantastic addition to the collection as it’s a year round garment, versatile to wear and available at a more accessible price point. The garment is made from a Cotton/Polyester blend and is cut to fit true to size. We wanted to progress the ‘block’ theme from the hoodie into the t-shirt design, not only to connect the garments together, but to give life to the idea that this initial drop is the building blocks for years to come. The Royal Raven’s logo is framed beautifully as it takes centre stage on the design supplemented with the limited edition stamp. The finer details are clear to see with a bespoke neck label and hem tag adding a real uniqueness to the piece.
